Authentica and the sustainable future
Here at Authentica we are aware of the burden that today's times are placing on our planet. That's why we've decided to be carbon neutral by 2025. For us at Authentica, we have been working on sustainable solutions for almost 20 years. We develop eco-friendly and environmentally friendly production methods not only for our customers, but above all to protect the environment, because we are aware of its delicate balance. This is reflected in all aspects of the company, from our main building to the last shipment sent to the customer.
Our goal is to continuously improve to create a greener future for future generations. We have long supported travel to work by bicycle, scooter, on foot or by using public transport. Proper waste sorting is even enshrined in the company's internal guidelines. We strive to support nature by reducing CO2, for example by planting trees in the landscape or maintaining green areas within the company's facilities.
Our vision to 2025
Green energy.
We plan to make major improvements in our energy management and transition to green energy by the end of 2025. By upgrading our existing solutions and incorporating new technologies, we plan to generate 75% of our energy from sustainable sources while reducing our carbon footprint. How are we going to achieve this, you ask?

Incorporating new sustainable technologies will lead to significant savings. This will create additional resources to support our charitable and non-profit projects that we have long supported.
How do we want to accomplish this?
Photovoltaic electricity which we will soon be generating by placing photovoltaic panels on the roof of our main building. This will make us energy self-sufficient, ideally producing more energy than we consume.
The heat pumps installed throughout Authentica's headquarters property allow us to heat all of our facilities, including our production halls. By connecting all the heat pumps, we are able to reduce our natural gas consumption by 70%.
Electromobility is a big topic for us. We have come a long way from being able to purchase our first electric vehicles in 2019 and in the future, during the natural transformation of our fleet, we will change all of our vehicles.
Water recycling can make a significant contribution to our overall consumption. By recycling clean water that we can still use, we can wash cars or water lawns economically, for example.
We are committed to protecting nature
We also think about nature in the day-to-day running of the company! We sort and recycle all waste, use composters to reduce mixed waste and each of our employees owns a sustainable glass or metal water bottle to help reduce PET in the company.
We are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified to promote environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management. Our goal is to protect the earth's forests and minimize illegal logging.
