At Authentica, we feel responsible for the world we live in. Sustainability isn’t just a trend for us – it’s a core part of our company culture. We’re constantly looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint, use resources more efficiently, and actively contribute to protecting the planet.
Our vision: carbon neutrality
We aim to become a carbon-neutral company. We’re working towards this through smart innovation in energy, production and logistics:
- 75% of our energy from sustainable sources – we’re modernising our operations and planning to install solar panels to ensure energy self-sufficiency.
- 70% reduction in natural gas consumption – thanks to an efficient heat pump system, we sustainably heat our buildings.
- Eco-friendly transport – we’re gradually replacing our fleet with hybrid vehicles and supporting sustainable commuting options for our employees.
- Water recycling – we reuse clean water, for example to maintain company greenery or wash vehicles.
We care for the environment every day
Sustainability isn’t only about big goals, it’s also about everyday decisions. We make sure our daily operations are as nature-friendly as possible.
- Waste sorting and recycling – proper waste handling is part of our internal guidelines. We also use composters to reduce mixed waste.
- Greener surroundings – we actively plant trees and take care of company greenery to help lower our carbon footprint.
- Less plastic – every new team member receives a glass or metal water bottle to help reduce the use of disposable PET bottles.
